Who we are
Henleaze Roofing Company is a roofing firm working across Henleaze, Westbury-on-Trym, Westbury Park, Southmead and the surrounding areas. We have been roofing for twenty years. We do repairs, re-roofs, flat roofs, leadwork and roofline work on houses, and we come out to emergencies.
How we work
We look before we price. That means getting up to the roof, or into the loft, and finding the cause of the problem rather than quoting for the symptom. You get a written quote with photographs of what we found, and if the honest answer is a small repair, that is what we quote for.
We fix tiles and slates to BS 5534, the British Standard for slating and tiling. We check whether your house is in a conservation area or listed before we propose anything that would change how the roof looks. And we leave the site clean, with photographs of the finished job.
Why a local roofer matters in Henleaze
Henleaze is not one kind of house. The streets nearest the Downs were built from 1896 onwards, with Edwardian gables, tile-hanging and tall stacks; most of the rest dates from the 1920s. A handful of much older buildings survive in between, including a thatched lodge on Henleaze Road. Part of the area sits within The Downs Conservation Area. Knowing which of those you are dealing with changes what we recommend.
What we will not do
